Dr. A. Fred Hedrick, Jr

Dr. Aubrey F. Hedrick, III

Dr. Aubrey Hedrick is a Heritage High School graduate. He did his undergrad at Wake Forest University before entering dental school. After graduating with honors from Medical College of Georgia (MCG) in 2010, he completed a one-year hospital-based Advanced Education in General Dentistry / General Practice Residency there.

Dr. Aubrey Hedrick is highly trained in intravenous sedation, placement and restoration of dental implants, and care of medically complex patients and patients with special needs. He was a proud recipient of several awards and accolades when he was studying at MCG. 

Dr. Hedrick is also a member of many dental associations such as the ADA, GDA and AGD.

Dr. Aubrey is particularly passionate about implant dentistry and making sure that his patients are at ease under his care. When he's not practicing, he likes to spend time with his wife and two boys. He is a Rockdale County native and proud to be serving the community he grew up in.

 Dr. Jean Chien   

After receiving her bachelor’s in chemistry and visual arts from Emory University in 2015, Dr. Chien earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.

Dr. Chien pursued advanced training in general dentistry at the Grady Infectious Disease Program and Ben Massell Dental Clinic in Atlanta where she handled complex cases for the underserved communities.

Dr. Chien takes time to make sure every patient feels comfortable in her chair and loves helping people achieve better oral health. She was born in Taiwan and moved to Texas in 5th grade so she is comfortable communication with patients in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

Outside of the office, she loves to travel, practice Pilates and explore the art and nature around Atlanta.

Practice Founder
Dr. Fred Hedrick is a proud graduate of Georgia Tech and the Medical College of Georgia. He founded the practice in 1987. Dr Hedrick believed Hedrick Family 
Dentistry should provide top quality care with the dignity and honesty that all patients deserve.

Dentistry is not only his profession; it is his passion. Though he retired August 16, 2022 he can still be found filling in when needed and stopping by just to say hi to patients and staff. Hedrick Family Dentistry is in his DNA and the practice is very grateful for the direction and precedent he set.
